Red dew adorning her arm

No beloved name hidden

Just tears silently tattooed

Stinging underneath flowing water

Tears blurred

Ache renewed

Red disappeared towards the hole

Pale pink lines will soon turn white

For now, it stings

Tomorrow it’ll fade into purpling blur

Then to pink and white

Forever it remains

Among tens or thirty of its seniors

A gift of love

From a kiss of pain

She smiled, satisfied

Handiwork adorning her arms

The tiny blade stowed

It’ll be summoned again

She knows

"So today, you can see me."

The rising sun whispered

And she responded with a teary smile.
